Moose In Springtime In Colorado
It's springtime and moose will spend up to 13 hours a day eating. The word moose means "twig-eater" or "animal who strips bark" and came from the word moosewa or mooswa of the Algonquin Indians.
This was a mom with her baby. She was busy eating the twigs and the baby was lying down resting. She let me take as many pics as I wanted. She was calm and not threatened by my presence.

The company I use for this website is Weebly and for some unknown reason random photos of mine appear throughout my postings unrelated to what I uploaded. If a fox appears on a blog about a moose or some other animal or photo unrelated to the blog, you'll know why! It's unfixable.
