Below is part of the trail to the beach. It's about a ten minute walk from my house.

It was my first time to see apples on a beach. Then I looked up and saw that apple trees with branches still full of apples were hanging over the rocky shore line.

An Island Frog
This little fella, a tree frog, one of thirty species in the United States, greeted me on my deck this morning. I'm living on one of the islands in archipelago of the Pacific Northwest.
He came for a second visit the next day.
